A Poem for Gardeners
Your soul is a garden, so tender and bright
Where thoughts are the seeds, that take root in the night
You can nurture the flowers, of love, hope, and light
Or let the weeds of worry, choke out the beauty in sight
Choose wisely, dear gardener, what seeds you will sow
For the harvest of thoughts, will shape the life you know
Cultivate kindness, compassion, and peace in your heart
And watch your garden flourish, a work of art
But beware of the weeds, of doubt, fear, and pain
For they can strangle the beauty, and bring only rain
So tend to your garden, with care and with might
And let the flowers of joy, bloom in the light.
